Hi everyone. My name is Denver Cohen. I live in New Jersey and am in the 9th grade. Last year I became interested in ham radio. I now have my General Class license and have talked with people around the world. My call sign is K2DEN.

I live with my two wonderfull and supportive parents. My older brother is now away at college but we still see him a lot.

I attend a great high school. I am a member of the robotics club at school. Our team name is Critical Mass. We are Team 207 in the FTC competition.

Ham Radio

I have always liked electronics and two years ago I was hooked into ham radio.

I really like radio and rf engineering. I love building stuff and I like building my own radios and listening to them. I like tubes and solid state but prefer solid state over its older sibling.

Crystal Sets

I really like crystal sets. My first radio I ever built was in seventh grade for a project. It was a simple crystal set and that got me hooked into the radio world.

I was fascinated by how simple and how complex radios could be.
